REMEB
REMEB’s overall objective is the implementation and validation of a MBR based on flat sheet recycled ceramic membranes in a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWPT). The validation will be done in comparison with the current MBR (organic membranes) the WWTP is working with.
REMEB joins together industry, academia, public authorities and other relevant stakeholders in order to develop and demonstrate on a large-scale a water innovative technology for achieving objectives of efficiency and sustainability. The REMEB work-programme includes, besides coordination, the following tasks: manufacturing, validation at real scale, life cycle assessment, replicability and impact, exploitation of results and business plan and dissemination of results.
