Meeting Minutes
6 Month meeting and 2nd General Assembly Espoo / Helsinki
WP3 and WP4 did not have a formal presentation as they have not yet started their developments. Nevetheless
WP5 presented the needs and general strategies to be followed in the life cycle analysis of products and their component materials.
In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to visit the VT Centre’s Bioruuki facilities, where the development and scaling up of wood and agricultural fibres will take place. The visit was divided into two groups, while one group visited the facilities, another team participated in a dynamic team-building exercise led by FNR.
During the second day, we started by analyzing the Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation WP6 and explained how to use the different templates generated in the project for writing reports and creating PowerPoint presentations.
The second item on the agenda was a workshop on exploitation (WP7), where all partners were asked to contribute and complete pending actions on exploitation, marking the first step in this work.
In WP7, TECNALIA presented the current state of the deliverables and the next deadlines.
An “out of the agenda” WP1 meeting was held during the coffee break to discuss and agree on (i) the amounts that GARNICA will receive from TECNALIA/ORLOGA (“resin-free” insulation panel), LUKE (mycelial insulation panel) and CHIMAR (biobased adhesive), (ii) the minimum requirements that the insulating components need to meet and (iii) the type of adhesive that should be used to bond the insulating panels to the particleboards. After reaching several agreements (*see below), it was decided to hold another (online) meeting in 2-3 weeks to discuss some of these aspects in more detail.
The meeting concluded with the General Assembly, which ratified that more than the necessary number of partners were present to make decisions. As there were no topics to debate or new aspects to propose, it was decided to conclude the meeting quickly without any decisions or actions.
