The Phenotypos Platform is starting operation

Project ‘Phenotypos’ aims to produce a state of the art, high throughput phenotyping facility in Cyprus phenotyping facility in Cyprus, which will provide phenotyping services to users from Cyprus and abroad.

We are proud and excited to announce that the PHENOTYPOS Platform has been installed and is operational since the start of September 2025. The first preliminary experiment on the platform has been set up and is ongoing. More precisely, lettuce has been planted in specially designed pots, with the aim to check the platform’s functionality and the uniformity of the growing conditions within the PHENOTYPOS greenhouse.
