Blue-Greenway workshop Invitation

The BlueGreenWay project aims to promote the implementation of Green Procurement in both the public and private sectors. The BGW platform aims to provide information, templates and and technical support in this respect.

The last BlueGreenWay (BGW) event in Cyprus will focus on a live demonstration of the BGW Platform. More precisely, the preparation of tenders and the development of green specifications
utilising the Knowledge databases of the Platform by purchasing organisations will be demonstrated trough a real-life case study. The workshop will also include a demonstration of how the BGW Platform can support suppliers to respond to tender calls and assess their capacity to meet green requirements.

It is noted that the BGW project focuses on protection from eutrophication, thus the BGW Platform content and the demonstration focus on the agriculture and aquaculture sectors, which are the key activities that pose eutrophication risk.
The event will take place on Wednesday, December 20  , at the events room of Arabica (Perikleous 62, 2021 Strovolos). ATLANTIS Environment and Innovation will facilitate the workshop.

The event agenda is presented below. For participation, please contact Nada Panayiotou by phone at 00357-99450812 or by email at [email protected].
